About Naperville Baseball Academy
The role of The Naperville Baseball Academy is to inform, instruct, and inspire athletes to be the best they can possible be- biomechanically, physically, nutritionally, and/or mentally/emotionally. Looking at the baseball landscape, we can be certain of at least one thing-the integration of medical science, exercise science, and coaching science has effected the paradigm on how pitchers and hitters should prepare, compete, and repair. We firmly believe in science based approach to efficient, effective pitching and hitting, one that is complemented by sports-science protocols that are designed to help prevent injury. We are an NPA (National Pitching Association) and Epstein Rotational Hitting certified facility, we are the only baseball academy in Northern Illinois that offers 3D motion analysis. The combination of these 3 programs provides us with a better understanding of what constitutes effective pitching and hitting "Signatures" it allows us to identify timing and kinematic sequence flaws in a delivery and swing, and has significantly improved the quality and focus of our instruction with regards to both mechanics drills and functional strength training.
